Mauro è furibondo, fuma come un turco e come un turco impreca contro le compagnie telefoniche (chissà se anche le altre hanno adottato un meccanismo tanto perverso!!!)
L'ultima speranza è che funzioni il sistema di ricarica dal tabaccaio come in Italia... vedremo di cercarne uno al prossimo paesino di Sfinari, oppure dopodomani a Palehora.
Intanto, per risolvere senza riuscirci i problemi di ricarica, abbiamo fatto una lunghissima sosta nella bella taverna affacciata sul porticciolo di Limeniskos: pranziamo alle 16, ceniamo alle 21 e ci faremo pure colazione domani mattina!
Il ragazzino che serve ai tavoli ha un bel sit on top giallo adagiato sulla spiaggetta sotto le tamerici e ci dice orgoglioso che lo usa spesso per andare a pesca; si informa sulle ultime tappe del nostro viaggio e ci chiede dove intendiamo arrivare il giorno dopo.
Il padre che rientra col peschereccio ed il pesce fresco con cui ceniamo ci suggerisce di montare la tenda sul piazzale del porto, dove sono ancora in corso lavori di sistemazione che sembrano andare avanti da tempo immemorabile: dormiamo con qualche difficoltà perché tra le serre oltre la curva della strada litoranea è in corso una festa popolare con musica dal vivo... ci affacciamo qualche minuto e l'atmosfera sembra davvero invitante, ma è ormai passata mezzanotte e noi domani vogliamo recuperare i pochi chilometri percorsi oggi (appena 17), passando di filata accanto alla lunga spiaggia di Falassarna, una località turistica molto famosa per il mare aperto dove sfrecciano i surf e dove le onde frangono rumorose e spumeggianti sulla costa sabbiosa ma incredibilmente alta.
It could be our last post because we don't succeed in recharging the Vodafone card for the Internet connection: the Italian web site doesn't accept the Greek telephone number and the Greek web site asks the registration and doesn't accept the Iva Italian number!
Mauro is furious, he smokes too much and curses against the telephone companies!
The last hope is a recharging system in a shop, as in Italy... we will try to look for in the next village of Sfinari, or after tomorrow in Palehora.
Meanwhile, to resolve without succeeding the recharging problems, we made a long stop in the beautiful tavern leaned out on the little harbour of Limeniskos: we have lunch at 16, dinner at 21 and will have also breakfast tomorrow morning!
The little boy serving the tables has a yellow sit on top abandoned on the beach and tells us proud that he uses it often to fish: he seems to be bit interested in our expedition.
His father reenters with the fishing-boat and with the fresh fish we consume for dinner and he suggests us to pick the tent on the square of the harbour, where jobs of setup are still in progress and seem to go on for a long time: we sleep with some difficulties because among the greenhouses over the coast road there is a popular party with live music... we lean out there a few minutes and the atmosphere it seems inviting indeed, but it is already midnight and tomorrow we'd like to recover the few miles crossed today (just 10), passing close to the long beach of Falassarna, a very touristic place, famous for the open sea where the surfs dart and where the waves break noisy and foamy on the sandy but incredibly tall coast.
