Gifts of the sea

Siamo alle prese con il lungo e delicato lavoro di sistemazione dell'attrezzatura: ogni volta che rientriamo da un viaggio, breve o lungo che sia, ci dedichiamo subito a lavare, pulire, aggiustare, incollare, sgrassare, ordinare e riporre tutte le cose che ci hanno accompagnato in navigazione... e generalmente sono tante!
Non abbiamo ancora finito, ma il fine settimana è alla porte ed il sole che torna a splendere il cielo ci "costringe" a riprendere la via del mare: lasciando gli ultimi lavori in sospeso, compresa pulizia e riordino della casa nonchè allocazione dei "regali del mare" ricevuti a Creta, ce ne andiamo in quel di Trieste per un lungo fine settimana di pagaiate in compagnia degli amici del CKF... il richiamo del mare è trooooooppo forte!

We are busy now with the long and delicate job of setup the equipment: every time that we come back from a trip, brief or long, we immediately devote us to wash, clean, repair, glue, order and to put back all the things we have had with us during the navigation... and generally they are so many!

We've not finished yet, but the weekend is to the doors and the sun that is finally returns to shine in the sky "force us" to come back to the sea: leaving the last jobs, inclusive cleaning the house as well as allocating the "gifts of the sea" received in Crete, we're going in Trieste for a long weekend of friendly paddles... the call of the sea is tooooooo strong to resist!
